 How to get a quote

1. Click the button above <Get a free quote and buy Online> to open the Manulife Financial secured website.

2. On the Manulife Financial website in the section <TOOLS> in the top left corner of the page, please find <Get a Quote & Apply> and click on <Visitors to Canada>  .

3. Choose your Visitors to Canada plan (single trip, multi-trip, top-up), country of residence, and then click the button <Continue> at the bottom of the page.

4. Please, enter all required information in the quotation form, click <Continue>.

5. You may be asked to answer several medical questions (Plan B for the applicant's age 35 and over).

6. Click <Continue> and get your free quote. Read how this policy covers pre-existing medical condition. 

 

How to buy this insurance policy

1. If you accept the quote and pre-existing condition exclusion, click the button <Apply> at the bottom of the page.

2. Please, enter your information in the boxes of the application (don't forget to enter your e-mail address), then click the button <Continue>.

3. You will be asked to pay by credit card.

4. You will see your Manulife Financial Travel Insurance Confirmation of coverage immediately after your payment approval (just click on your name or the Policy Number you will see on the screen). Also, you will receive Manulife Financial Travel Insurance Confirmation of coverage on your e-mail address. Please, print out this Confirmation of coverage.

 

You will find your policy number and phone numbers of the Manulife Financial Assistance Centre in this Confirmation of coverage. In the event of an emergency please call the Assistance Centre prior to receiving medical treatment.

 

Your Manulife Financial Travel Insurance Confirmation of coverage and the Policy Booklet make up your insurance contract. You can print out this Policy Booklet (just click the link) or request a paper copy of the Policy booklet sending e-mail with your address to natalia@tninsurance.ca .

For the questions regarding your policy, to make changes to your coverage, to obtain a claim form, please call Manulife Financial Customer Service at 1-800-268-3763.

In the event of an emergency please call the Assistance Centre immediately, prior to receiving medical treatment. The phone numbers are indicated in your policy.

 

What coverage you will get

This plan provides coverage throughout Canada as well as this insurance provides coverage for up to 30 days while travelling outside Canada (excluding your country of origin), as long as your side trip originates and terminates in Canada and does not exceed 49% of your total number of coverage days.

 

Emergency Medical Insurance

  • Single-Trip Plan is the amount purchased: $25,000, $50,000, $100,000 or $150,000

  • Multi-Trip Plan covers you for up to $150,000 for an unlimited number of up to 30 day trips to Canada during a year.

You are not eligible for coverage under this policy if:
a) the date of your trip occurs during the time that you have been advised by a physician not to travel;
b) you have been diagnosed with a terminal illness with less than two (2) years to live;
c) you have a kidney condition requiring dialysis; and/or
d) you have used home oxygen during the 12 months prior to the date of application.

 

Choose from Plan A or Plan B.
Plan A does not provide coverage for pre-existing medical conditions (read the Policy Booklet). Family coverage available for Plan A up to age 54.
Plan B provides coverage for your stable pre-existing medical conditions (within 180 days before the effective date of the insurance) and is available for applicants who meet the eligibility requirements, are age 35 to 85, and who are residents of the following countries or districts: Austria, Australia, Bahamas, Barbados, Belgium, Bermuda, Cayman Islands, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Greece, Germany, Hungary, Hong Kong, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Jamaica, Japan, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Slovakia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Trinidad and Tobago, United Kingdom, and the United States of America.

    Trip Interruption
    If you have pre-paid travel arrangements and want to protect yourself if your trip is interrupted. This insurance is available for purchase with all plans and provides coverage for an individual trip.
     

    Travel Accident
    Available for purchase with all plans and provides coverage for an individual trip.
